We are looking for a fresh set of eyes with an analytical approach. The aim is to help the writer improve, general style and realising their vision for their book, before releasing it to the general public.

What is a beta reader?
Beta readers are people who volunteer to read books by authors prior to publication or the release date. You do not have to be an academic and are not required to edit to replace an editor. Instead, you offer your time to read and give the author constructive criticism and share your opinions. You can make suggestions to edits if you wish but check in with the author first.
You must follow @ukauthor
Tweet your favourite Book and Author. Happy Tweeting!
Win a prize when you post your favourite Christian book and author. Winner will be picked at random just after 15th Feb 2017.
This is to give aspiring authors and readers opportunities to write their book with a little financial aid of a £10 shopping voucher and a free book to get them going.
2017 is just round the corner! What are your aims, goals and aspirations?
Here are a few ideas to get you thinking:
- Smile more
- Spend more time with family
- Healthier lifestyle
- Adopt healthy habits
- Learn a new skill/hobby
- Help others succeed
- Adopt a positive mindset to start the day
- Listen more
- Read at least one book/article every month
- Give to a cause
As 2016 is fast approaching, let’s face it. Can you really keep to your resolutions? How often do we say we are going to do something and not do it? This month and next, is a good time to really think about your aspirations and goals, NOT after you enter 2016 of course! The planning begins now and that is why I have introduced the ‘faith it til you make it’ campaign, in order to help you do just that. The faith it campaign, starting from next week works in two ways. You receive tips as a constant reminder and we post the tips. Its just that simple. (Although suggestions are welcome).

No, simply look out for updates on twitter and Instagram, @pripridestined1

I look forward to overcoming procrastination with you!
Here’s to get you started when you leave the screen…
1) Use one word to sum up your goals for the new year. e.g. my word for 2015 was ‘smile more’. (Just a little bit more than a word but it worked). I’ll be listing a few examples you can choose from very soon. So be sure to follow me on the Instagram.
2) Learn ONE new skill every year. See what skills I’ve learnt on Instagram and share yours using hash tag getsetfor2016 on your social media posts.
3) Pick a four lettered word and form your acronym with positive words to help you remember your goals. Here’s one I have kept since secondary school.
‘ROCK’ your way through.
‘R’ is for recollect,
‘O’ is for Open-minded,
‘C’ is for Consistency,
‘K’ is for Kind-heartedness.
I’ve kept this list short, not to complicate things. Obviously one method has a higher impact than others. Which one works for you? Don’t forget to let me know how it went or if it worked at all. Check the previous post to download your goal tracker sheet. It’s free. What’s there to loose! Perhaps a few trees. Just kidding.
A big Thank you to everyone that attended my book launch. Lots of food, a little dancing, couldn’t ask for more.
